Sentence Patterns and Grammatical Explanations

这儿的景色美了!

Zhèr de jǐngsè tài měi le!

The view here is so beautiful!

In Chinese, you can express your excitements, praise, admiration and sudden emotions by using the adverb (tài, too, really). When (tài, too, really) is used in an exclamatory sentence, (le) usually appears at the end of the sentence. Such sentence does not usually convey new factual information but the speakers' approval, disapproval, etc.
